Happy

“How happy is the one whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered! How happy is the man the LORD does not charge with sin, and in whose spirit is no deceit!” Psalm 32:1-2

Sin is heavy.  It carries with it guilt and guilt grows over time.  We were never designed to carry the weight of sin and it wares us down over time.  But the worse part of sin is separation from God and without the Lord we are powerless to sin. God knows this and sent His Son Jesus to die for our sins.  By putting our faith in Him our sins are forgiven and our guilt is removed.  Having this weight removed a tremendous relief and changes the way we live or lives.  

So what is the key to happiness?  It is living a life in truth and forgiveness.  God allows us to just that when we receive His Son, by faith.  He removes our sin and guilt and allows us to live in truth.  He allows us to live in forgiveness of our sins.  This in turn allows us to in truth and forgiveness with others.  Being free of thing “stuff” is uplifting and allows us to live in joy and peace, which will put a smile on anyone’s face!  

Thank you for the forgiveness of sin!  Lord thank you for allowing us to live free and in truth.  Thank you for forgiveness!  Lord help us to live in truth and forgiveness with others.  Lord give us strength to stay away from sin and help us confess the sins we have committed.  Amen
